get this out of the trance section

its a great song, but get this shit out of the fucking trance section, its already stained with its "enerytrance" it has too much of the wrong shit within that section.
its a great hardstyle song, tip make your kicks more noticable and less snare-drummy. with how your bass and kicks are now the song was over powered by the static-synthes.

im glad someone here on NG is posted Hardstyle, its about time too.

but im sorry, you're posting this in the wrong section. its not trance and its not house or what fakefuck tranceheads call energy-trance. which to rave standards, doesnt exist.

move it to DnB and it will get the respect it deserves. atm, thats your biggest flaw and its bugging the hell out of me. for months now ive seen shit posted in the wrong section of the Techno portion of the AP. (techo IS the overall name for electronic music, NG is wrong on multiple things)

Trance is the only section on newgrounds. So I put hardstyle in the trance section.

i hate how the NG AP is set up, Trance is Ambient, House is trance and House is dance. nothing is in the right fucking place, NG need to fix it.

this was an awesome song man, this IS trance and honestly, the Ambient Section should be wiped and merged with the Trance section, because this IS trance, the verry definition of trance. [b]perfect[/b] is all i can say. i cant complain. about the song its self, just the placement. you know?

Are you kidding? This is not trance at all. Typically, trance is a four to the floor beat with an off beat bass, generic saw pads and a lead in an uplifting chord progression. There's progressive trance, hardtrance, psytrance, eurotrance, and a plethora of other styles of trance, but this song is far from any of them. If you want to hear trance I have produced a bunch of that. Check em out. You might also be interested in these mainstream trance artists.. just some random ones I'm naming off the top of my head.

Ambient is about as close as this song can be categorized on here. I've been producing for a long time now and believe me when I say I know what type of genre I'm producing. I feel like an ass now because I highly doubt you'll ever come back to this and read my response.. oh well. Thank you for your review and appreciation though!

i would have thought it was a Bass heavy house, or even trance in someparts. but its, not... really.

Not Toxic, its Housey.

Toxic raves are bass massive, its good i love it, its catchy, but its not a "Toxic rave"
its great for House, and just an epic VG remix. but not DnB, nor Hardstyle.

Title doesn't matter. It's just a play on words. The level's called Toxic Cave. I can't call it Housey Rave cause people wouldn't get the reference. Where the hell is a House in Sonic Spinball?

Bass too constant, cant shuffle *twitch*

i love it, but i was expecting something that wouldnt sound like pendulum, mabey beacuse i listen to HeadHunterz and SMF, but its a dissapointment because this song is so, Basy, yet i cant shuffle to it... :(

loved it from the start!

seriously, great on the drum part, but this sounded more like trance ( you picked the right guy you review your music) this was a great song in all. but when aiming for Dum & bass, think more ( dare i say it) pendulum, and Technoboy. even the Headhunterz/project1 (same guy)all of those are great Drum & Bass groups/artists. this was more on the edge of PPK's trance. alot of Synths, and piano keyboard.

for the techno genre it is, great trance man, i can soooo liste to this walking down my highschool halls. the way everything echos is perfect (thats a key towards trance) its like robots (the outro to ressurection from PPK) it echoes well enough you dont need any drugs to fell like your high.... kinda, just in terms of sound. anyway what im trying to say is this isnt drum & bass for two reasons,

Bass = not enough
and its too slow

reasons why its trance
slow enough and great Echo with even better synths&Harmonies
.... so yeah i dont think i got my point through...

yeah my songs rarely fit into a genre, because I normally try to go for something original, when I am making my proper songs anyway. So yeah, It is my version of dnb :D

But thanks for the review, I know what you mean. But I dont really want to make drum and bass like pendulumn, I would rather make paragon x9 type dnb lol... Yeahh.... :D

[FFX - Before the Storm]

oh this brings bck the memories.

i love every part of this, it just reminds of so much. a few things i hoped not to remember but. mostly good times of dazing out to this song. most final fantasy songs put the playing in a sleepy daze... To Zanakand, and Besaid island are great examples. i love both of those songs for that reason... just the one song i loved the most is "The Blitzers", . basicly what im rambeling about is... caould you do some reaserch on both of that one song and mabey make a remix VERY similer to it? im sure many FFX fans like me would love that. its just a great song. now back to yours. i love song like this that can just put me in a thoughtless sleep. it just... does more then calm one person.. it trances them out... kinda.

Thoughtless sleep eh? Interestingly put I think for the most part. I presume you mean the Blitzball song on FFX? Perhaps it was something different...I'll look into it and I MIGHT (!) do something with any of those mentioned. I am much much better with synths and overall song quality that I should be able to do a better job then I did on this one. I'll let you know if something comes up ^^.
