i love this song, its simple. and yet has a positive tone to it.
the progression is not too drawn out and the way you come back to the peak for a climatic ending is what makes this song worth throwing into a commuting playlist. xP

might i suggest you lower the volume of the drums and bass. and add a bit more to the background uphoria you had going on at someparts. keep your melody going. but make sure the background snyth can be heard. trance isnt so much the bass and kicks being subtle. but the melodies you let out wih your synths. the echoes you leave in the listeners ears using the vocals.
i know im a bit sloppy with this, but i hope you get what im trying to say.

is when someone keeps the feeling of the song their remixing, intact. you sir, used the original violin melody without altering at all, and have o give you full credit for it. i could care less if it sounded like pendulum did this, good thing by the way, but the fact that you didnt fuck up the melody or tempo is something that makes this a perfect song in my books. you even kept the intro the same. i cannot stress this enough, i hate people who butcher the mood and emotion of a song by killing the melody and tempo. this song along with my altime favorite, Mad World, by the glorious piano player we all know, Gary Jules, hav been butchered. slaughtered by some drug induced DJ who thought it would be an awesome remix if her cut the thing in half by speeding shit up and slapping some drum beats into it. you sir did not do that, and i love you for it. i just wish most people would understand that a song is no longer the same song when you kill it in the process of making a remix. i have searched for years for a good remix for this song, i did not know it would take 13 years.
you are my favorite music producer because of this, i cannot thank you enough.
get this out of the trance section
its a great song, but get this shit out of the fucking trance section, its already stained with its "enerytrance" it has too much of the wrong shit within that section.
its a great hardstyle song, tip make your kicks more noticable and less snare-drummy. with how your bass and kicks are now the song was over powered by the static-synthes.

but im sorry, you're posting this in the wrong section. its not trance and its not house or what fakefuck tranceheads call energy-trance. which to rave standards, doesnt exist.
move it to DnB and it will get the respect it deserves. atm, thats your biggest flaw and its bugging the hell out of me. for months now ive seen shit posted in the wrong section of the Techno portion of the AP. (techo IS the overall name for electronic music, NG is wrong on multiple things)

Trance is the only section on newgrounds. So I put hardstyle in the trance section.
Drum and Bass is not close to hardstyle O_O

Are you kidding? This is not trance at all. Typically, trance is a four to the floor beat with an off beat bass, generic saw pads and a lead in an uplifting chord progression. There's progressive trance, hardtrance, psytrance, eurotrance, and a plethora of other styles of trance, but this song is far from any of them. If you want to hear trance I have produced a bunch of that. Check em out. You might also be interested in these mainstream trance artists.. just some random ones I'm naming off the top of my head.

Ambient is about as close as this song can be categorized on here. I've been producing for a long time now and believe me when I say I know what type of genre I'm producing. I feel like an ass now because I highly doubt you'll ever come back to this and read my response.. oh well. Thank you for your review and appreciation though!

none of the "Trance" submissions were anything close to trance, or even "energytrance" which doesnt fucking exist, its either Trance or house, no in between. your submission was true to Grenra selection, and just kicked ass, great song, very rarely do i hand out perfect 5's, but this made me do it.
your bass was good, a little subtle, but noticeable, other producers here on newgrounds dont get the right bass for what type of music they want to make, people arnt puting enough bass into the DnB section, making it sound like house.
others are using too many acid Synths in their Trance making it sound like house, which it is! and then others are putting to much bass into their House & dance making it Hardstyle, which on newgrounds = DnB, the whole electronic section of the AP needs to be fixed.
now back to your piece.
Perfect, on selection, fits well, and got me spinning my glowsticks again. i havent picked those up in years, im glad you posted this, its just to hard to point out what was good, because all of it was, so in order to do so, i have to sound like one of those fags who dont know what their talking about when they say the whole song was good when they only mean the Major Synth section around the middle of the song. you just made me into one of those on this song, and im kinda upset abot that, but, then again the awesome ness of this song gets me over that.

Besides EnV, you're the only one who has posted Trance in the trance section of the AP. the rest is House, no matter what they call it, Energy-Trance is the same shit as House. no difference. therefore it shouldnt exist, this is one of the best examples of Trance, and it should stay that way.
